The brief
One room, one beautiful idea
A landmark reception at a landmark address. The couple wanted a space that felt like a single idea rather than a collection of suppliers, so every element, from the stage to the bar to the screens, was designed and delivered by the same team.
The centrepiece
An orb above a mirror floor
An orb centrepiece hung above a mirror dancefloor, doubling the light and the movement of the room. A bespoke stage and a matched bar build framed the space, with LED screens and a DJ booth tuned for a live band and a long night of dancing.
The night
Built for a five-star room
Five-star venues leave no room for error, and a live band changes the maths again. The PA has to serve players who need to hear themselves and a floor that wants weight. We brief both into one design rather than tuning for the band and hoping the DJ copes.

Kudos designed this Londoner reception around a suspended orb centrepiece and a mirror dancefloor that reflected the lighting above it. The stage, LED screens and matched bar completed the room, with sound planned for a live band and the evening party.
