Jas Johal behind the music
Jas Johal was the DJ for Pooja and Gary’s wedding reception. At Royal Lancaster London, the music sat at the heart of a room made for celebrating together: a personal first dance, then friends and family joining the floor. The first dance
A moment for Pooja & Gary
Violet and blue light fell across the white dancefloor as Pooja and Gary took their first dance. Their monogram sat beneath their feet and appeared again on the screen behind the stage. Guests watched from the sides of the ballroom, with the couple at the centre of the room and the photographs.

The party
Then everyone joined in
The photographs tell the next part of the story: friends and family together on the dancefloor, with blue light overhead and the stage glowing behind them. Jas Johal was the DJ for the reception, with sound and overhead lighting supporting the evening as the room moved from dinner to dancing.

Royal Lancaster London
A ballroom with their name on it
The welcome sign and seating plan introduced the couple’s design before guests entered the ballroom. Inside, bespoke tables gathered around a personalised dancefloor, while a printed four-metre round bar gave guests another place to meet. Warm light during dinner brought out the white furniture, red flowers and gold details of the setting.

The setting for the music
One look, from dinner to dancing
A white stage and backdrop, illuminated set panels and a central LED screen framed the celebration. Overhead lighting and LED uplights changed the feel of the room around the bespoke floor. Kudos AV delivered the production and bespoke elements; the finished setting gave the music, the couple and their guests a shared focus throughout the reception.
