DJ Harv is a Bhangra man to the core, a desi specialist who treats the genre not as a back catalogue but as living material, reworking original beats to push a party higher. That instinct became a defining moment in early 2016, when his debut single "Darshan," cut with Punjabi star Geeta Zaildar and released on E3UK Records, premiered as a BBC Asian Network World Exclusive and stormed to No.1 on the BBC UK Asian Download Chart, dethroning Diljit Dosanjh's "5 Taara", before spending six weeks in the Top 20.

More than a DJ
Behind the accolade is a DJ built for the dancefloor rather than the booth. Bhangra in every form is his home turf, but Bollywood, hip hop and garage were the soundtrack to his youth and still surface in his sets.
