Kajal, a London private banker, and Niraj, founder and CEO of Vici London and a partner at Milan's Andrea Bonini Bespoke Interiors, built their wedding around Vienna itself, choosing palaces that had never before hosted a private event on this scale and selecting each for its art and history. They wanted a city that evoked a bygone era, a backdrop for 'The Great Indian Wedding' that reflected Kajal's love of classic fashion and Niraj's eye for art and architecture. The sangeet, themed Vienna Meets India, filled the Gartenpalais Liechtenstein and its world-class art collection. Gujarati pre-wedding ceremonies and the Mandvo followed at the Park Hyatt, a 1915 former bank turned luxury hotel. The wedding, The Golden Kiss, took place at the Belvedere Palace, home to Gustav Klimt's The Kiss, drawing on gold, fine art and romance. The grand finale ran at the Spanish Riding School, established in 1572, beneath gilded chandeliers and winged cherubs. We brought the music: Kudos' DJ ITCH and DJ H carried an international guest list across all three days, from the palace sangeet to a late-night floor. Planning and creative direction were by Sakshi Jerath, with experiential production by Aditya Motwane, catering by Foodlink, couture by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and photography by BMSN by Dani Rodriguez.
