Simran and Avjeet brought their families from London to the South of France for a celebration Vogue India called a big fat Punjabi wedding, set among the storybook turrets and gardens of Château de Robernier in Provence. Under a flower-wrapped mandap on the lawn, the couple married with the château behind them, the bride in Manish Malhotra, the groom with sword and turban, before the party spilled into the grounds for the night. Founding Kudos DJ Aman K ran the music across the weekend, fluent on the mic in Punjabi and English, carrying the room from a dhol-led baraat to a packed late-night bhangra and Bollywood floor. Planning was by Leela Events, the day filmed by Denee Motion and photographed by Knotting Bells.
