RAJU & HARV
RAJU: Raju entered the wedding entertainment scene as a professional dhol player. His biggest influence came from being related to one of the members of the 90's bhangra group Shaktee. In 2003 Raju joined Ministry Of Dhol and later helped to form Premier Roadshow. Raju also had the privelage of playing to a packed out stadium in the 2009 FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium which in his view so far has been the highlight in his career. Raju was not content with just being a dhol player and further gained his skills and decided to venture into the MC/Hosting side of the DJ scene.
This proved to be a good move for Raju and he became not only a talented and experienced dhol player but also an MC/Host that together with both skills combined could entertain crowds and in his own words, get the dancefloor 'ram jam packed'!
HARV: Harv is a versatile and energetic DJ who brings over 8 years of experience to the Kudos Music team.
Whilst a student in Southampton, Harv made a name for himself on the club circuit, playing at some of the most prominent nightclubs on the south coast.
His main musical influences stem from his father's love for Punjabi folk music and his own passion for Bhangra, Bollywood, Garage and Pop. He cites DJ EZ and Kudos's very own DJ H as his 'DJ Heroes'.
Harv has a funky and eclectic style and an unrivalled library of musical knowledge. His ability to read a crowd and to direct an atmosphere clearly demonstrates his gift for knowing what to play, and when for any occasion or event.
