Kudos always bring the fire, and once again they certainly delivered at the official after party for The Bhangra Showdown which took place at the Scala nightclub, in Kings Cross, London.

Since 2007, The Bhangra Showdown, organised and hosted by the Punjabi Society of Imperial College, has brought together groups of talented bhangra dancing students from across the country to compete for title of 'Number 1 Student Bhangra Team, UK' resulting in one of the biggest student events of the year. This year's sold out show, which took place at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo on 11th February, was a spectacular showdown of colour, culture, refined dancing skills, great music and unity. Each one of the 9 teams performed magnificently making Bhangra lovers from across the country extremely proud, but the very well-deserved title at the end of the night went to the Bhangra Team of Leicester University. Massive congratulations to them!

The official after party at Scala was a great chance for everyone to unwind after months of hard work and practice, allowing performers and audience to come together and celebrate their love for bhangra - the one thing which had brought so many people together in the first place.

DJ Manny and Dalvinder of Kudos Music brought the house down with their set, but then again nothing less is expected of the Kudos Music team as they deliver time and time again! Taking bhangra back to the way it used to be, the 2 DJ's performed alongside Saini Surinder accompanied by a full live band. Being one of the most talked about singers in the bhangra industry at present, Saini Surinder's performance with full live band and the Kudos DJ's definitely left party goers with something to talk about! If there's one thing Punjabis know how to do, that is party and this turned out to be one of the best ones of the year so far

The Kudos team are honoured to have performed at such a great event. An enormous 'well done' to the Punjabi Society of Imperial College, London for pulling this off fantastically yet again. You know an event has been brilliant when you look forward to the next one as soon as it finishes... We can't wait 'til next year!
