FIVE RIVERS CATERING LAUNCH BRAND NEW A LA CARTE RESTAURANT

Event caterers Fiver Rivers have launched brand new restaurant Five Rivers a la Carte, located in the heart of Walsall. The Fiver Rivers brand is renown for its quality outdoor catering business, becoming a highly esteemed brand in the Asian wedding industry, recognised for their unique North Indian cuisine.

Kindi Sunner and Shamim HM are the team behind the new venture and are savoring the prospect of expanding their already flourishing business. Managing Director, Sunner, explained that going into the restaurant business was a 'might leap' and that his passion for food and quality service combined with their desire to expand the Fiver Rivers Group enabled them to 'turn our dreams into reality', he also went on to say 'fine dining will give us an edge over competitors'.

Five Rivers success has been driven much to the culinary skills of Executive Chef Rashpal Sunner, winning a number of high profile awards, his most prestigious being 'ethnic chef of the year.' Chef Sunner, originally from Punjab, India, has taken much influence from his hometown as he explains "Punjab is where I come from and influences the day to day at Five Rivers. The richness of this area in India proves us with not only the flavours for our dishes but also with a heritage that is based on hard work and always delivering the best."

Since the launch of the restaurant it has attracted much attention within the Midlands and UK, besides the outstanding menu, the décor, ambience and fantastic service have all become major talking points.
